Back in stock! Hornby Triplex Bluetooth and DCC Sound decoders

Hornby's range of Triplex Bluetooth and DCC Sound Decoders are back in stock on the Key Model World Shop with a choice of 8-pin, 21-pin and Next18 sockets PLUS we now have the Power Bank Maxi stay alive and Bass Enhanced speaker accessories available to take your sound installations to the next level.

The Hornby Triplex Sound (TXS) decoders are a wallet friendly way of introducing digital sound to your layout. They are designed with a choice of Bluetooth and DCC communication which opens up the option to control your locomotives via a Smartphone using the Hornby HM|DCC app or using another manufacturer's DCC system.

The primary different is the Bluetooth control. This allows quick communication between the HM|DCC app and the chips using Bluetooth technology including reading of all decoder CVs in under 10 seconds. Hornby has also developed a range of sound files for its TXS decoders which you can load onto the chip at home using the HM|DCC app. Better still, if you choose to relocate the decoder to another locomotive, the sound file can be replaced with a new choice.

The decoders are designed for solder free installation. Each decoder has a socket for a speaker and a socket for a stay alive capacitor bank to be connected. These terminals cannot be confused as Hornby's design provides a larger three pin socket for the stay alive connection.

All three decoder interfaces are available now from the Key Model World Shop together with the Maxi stay alive and high-performing 8ohm Bass Enhanced speaker.
