The 2024 Great Electric Train Show is set to take place at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes on the weekend of October 12/13 bringing together 30 top quality hand-picked model railway layouts, more than 50 trade stands and exclusive modelling demonstrations.

The popular VIP ticket is available now and have been upgraded for 2024. The VIP ticket includes:

  • Two-day entry to the Great Electric Train Show on October 12/13 2024
  • VIP entrance to the show through the VIP lounge - lounge open from 9am each day with access to the show hall from 9.30am

The first layouts to be revealed for the show are Winchester Railway Modellers’ stunning Southern Region 4mm scale layout Redbridge Wharf (HM201), Charwelton into the ‘80s in 4mm scale by the CBM Diesel Group, Newvaddon Parkway from Redruth Model Railway Club in ‘N’ gauge (HM188), Ebsworth Street by Greg Marshall – feature coming soon - Steeple Bumpleigh by Norman Raven in ‘OO’ gauge, Kreuzweg modelling Swiss metre gauge railways and Hornby Magazine’s Seven Mill Depot (HM152) and Natford TMD (HM190-HM193).

Pete Waterman's Making Tracks 4 is confirmed for the 2024 Great Electric Train Show with new features planned to make their debut at the event around Watford Junction station.

These layouts will be joined by more than 50 trade stands for a feature-packed weekend of railway modelling. Further layouts and trade stands will be announced in future issues of Hornby Magazine.

Parking is available on site at the venue car park where parking charges will apply. At busy times parking can be limited on site. Alternative parking includes Milton Keynes Central railway station (free shuttle buses will be running throughout the event from the station) or you can use parking apps, including those listed on the Great Electric Train Show web pages to source local parking around the venue.
