The latest issue of Hornby Magazine – HM122, August 2017 – is on sale now marking the 50th anniversary of the end of steam on British Railway’s Southern Region with special features and an exclusive Hornby competition.



There is the chance to win a trio of late BR steam era Southern Region locomotives – a Hornby ‘West Country’ 4-6-2, ‘S15’ 4-6-0 and ‘M7’ 0-4-4T – while our features turn back the clock to July 1967 and the final weeks in the run-up to the end of express main line steam operations.
