TTA Tanker Shell-BP

Expand your collection of diesel era freight wagons with this Hornby TT:120 scale TTA four-wheel tanker featuring a plain grey tank with the iconic Shell-BP dual branding numbered 501.

The TTA tank wagons were introduced by BR in the 1960s, with 1,000s built to replace ageing tank wagons of smaller capacity that it had inherited from private-owner fleets. Used to transport oil and petroleum products, they were still being built into the 1970s, with the last remaining in service until the early 2000s.
