Hornby’s TT:120 scale rolling stock continues to develop with the addition of vital British Railways Mk1 brake carriages. With the popular BR Crimson Cream livery now offered, the new Mk1 range is a must for both new and seasoned modellers. Add this carriage to your collection from the Key Model World Shop for £33.99 (RRP £37.49).

The British Railways Mk1 range was introduced from 1951 to provide a standardised design combined influence from pre-BR carriages. The Mk1 quickly became ubiquitous on any passenger service throughout the 1950s and 60s and still form the backbone of carriage stock used on many heritage railways today.

The all-new Hornby TT:120 Mk1 range now includes the widely used Brake Second Corridor (BSK). Offered as E34734, this BSK features fine moulded detail with internal corridor, guards area, flush glazing and accurate decoration. Suited to a layout of any region of British Railways set after 1951 (era 4), this BSK can even form a short branch line train by itself.

A brake carriage is vital to any set of coaches, and this BSK is the perfect companion to Hornby’s TT:120 range of distinctive early BR-liveried steam locomotives and other carriage designs. With more liveries in development, the new Mk1 BSK is sure to find a home with any TT:120 model railway depicting the early years of British Railways right through to the present.
