The Stroudley 'Terrier' 0-6-0Ts were built between 1872-1880 for the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway (LB&SCR) at Brighton Works. These long-standing Victorian tank engines saw service with the LB&SCR, Southern Railway, British Railways as well as private railways including the Kent and East Sussex Railway.
This new addition to the Hornby TT:120 range offers a new choice of tank engine for Southern Region steam modellers with this example modelling 655 Stepney in LBSCR livery as it was between 1901 and 1912. Features include a detailed cab interior, NEM coupling pockets and a three-pole motor inside while it also has a coal rail bunker.
