Peterborough Rail Festival - Drive a Locomotive

Drive a GBRf main line diesel locomotive on the Nene Valley Railway on September 6 2024 as part of the GB Railfreight Gala Weekend operated by Modern Railways, Hornby Magazine, GB Railfreight and the Nene Valley Railway.

Just TEN places are available to drive a GBRf locomotive on the NVR - locomotive to be confirmed - with prices set at £275. Each time slot will cover two ticket purchasers to enter the cab with one driving from Wansford to Peterborough Nene Valley and other driving back from Peterborough Nene Valley to Wansford.

The driver experience tickets will raise funds for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Time slots are available at 10am, 11.30am, 1pm, 2.30pm and 4pm on a first come, first served basis. Driver's must be over 18 and be able to climb into the cab of a railway locomotive in order to take part.
