Exclusive Accurascale Army Class 60 due mid-October

Key Publishing's exclusive Accurascale 'OO' gauge Class 60, 60040 The Territorial Army Centenary, is now complete and is expected to arrive in mid-October 2026.

The exclusive model captures 60040 in its unique DB Cherry Red colour scheme which it carried from 2008 until 2012. It uses Accurascale's 2025 launched Class 60 tooling, but with a number of upgrades since the first batch.

60040 will feature newly tooled SKF axlebox markings, improved cab side windows, cab interior pillar detail and prototypical tinted glazing. Internally a revised PCB is set to deliver more realistic lighting while the sound fitted versions have received refinements of the Napier turbocharger sound.

The exclusive model of 60040 is currently sold out on pre-order with Key Publishing. Pre-order customers will be contacted once the model has arrived in stock.
