New Hornby TT:120 scale arrivals

We've received a collection of new releases from Hornby from its 'TT:120' scale range including two new Class 50s and the first of its ready-made semaphore signals for the scale.

The latest Class 50s model two distinctly different locomotives. First is D403 in original BR blue which models the locomotive as it entered traffic with correct cab front and roof details prior to its later modifications in the 1970s. In this condition it suits the 1967-1972 period on the West Coast Main Line.

Joining D403 is 50026 Indomitable in classic BR large logo blue livery following its refurbishment at Doncaster Works in 1982. This includes the modified front end to feature a large central headlight as well as the distinctive cutout in the roof line.

Both locomotives are available DCC ready and feature working directional lights, a Next18 decoder socket, space for a 15mm x 11mm cube speaker in the built in enclosure, a powerful motor, all-wheel drive, flywheels and an optional accessory pack to enhance the buffer beams.

The RRP for the Class 50s is £167.99 - save 10% off the RRP when you buy from the Key Model World Shop, reducing the price to £151.49 per locomotive.

The Class 50s are joined by the first two signals for 'TT:120' scale from Hornby - a Home and Distant. These are pre-built and feature LED lighting behind the lens which can be powered by a Direct Current (DC) power supply. Instructions are included with the signals for their installation and connection and they will soon be joined by bracket signals.

The RRP for the signals is £11.99 - Key Model World Shop price £10.99.
