First portal gantries join PJM Models catenary range

The third catenary gantry kit has joined the PJM Models collection of laser-cut kits modelling West Coast Main Line portal structures for double track main lines. 

This new kit is offered as a triple pack to go alongside the previously released cantilever gantry kits for ground and platform mounting.

The new portal gantry is typical of structures seen on the WCML and features all laser-cut components for the gantry together with a jig to guide modellers in building registration arms using the supplied brass rod, section and 3D printed insulator pots. 

Full instructions are included in the kit which requires a craft knife, cutting mat, tweezers, soldering iron, superglue, solder and paint to complete it. 

The structures measure 120mm between the supports with the total width being 136mm and the total height 108mm. Further gantry widths will be added to the range during 2026 to expand this exclusive collection of PJM Models catenary products. All are designed for use with Peco's overhead contact wires.
