New half width modular platform kits in stock now
A new collection of half width PJM Models OO gauge laser-cut platform kits are now available exclusively through Key Model World.
The new kits use the same styles as the double sided designs already in the range and are perfect to fit in narrower spaces or at the rear of a layout.
The half-width kits cater for 45mm wide straight platforms which are 17mm tall to be positioned on cork next to ‘OO’ gauge tracks. The straight sections are in 450mm long lengths (with a choice of single and triple packs) while there are also separate packs of ramps to the same width.
Each pack includes gauges to set the position of the platforms against the track with the straight kits to suit ‘OO’ gauge track.
The kits are entirely laser-cut with choice of two designs available in the first releases - block edging or brick edging to fit below the platform surface. A small amount of filler is required to finish the surface once built for a smooth finish.
To complete the kit you will need:
- Cutting mat
- Craft knife
- Sanding board
- Super glue
- Polyfilla
- Paints
The new range encompasses single and triple packs of 450mm long 45mm wide platform sections as well as twin packs of ramps measuring 139mm x 45mm with a choice of block and brick edging. Prices start from £5.99 per pack.
